Welcome to the Fantastic Fours!
The four-year-old classroom utilizes Zoo Phonics to teach your child the alphabet. After the first two weeks of school, your child is introduced to the characters in the Zoo Phonics world. They will laugh and sing along with our Zoo Phonics friends while learning their alphabet and phonics sounds! Emphasis is placed on social interaction and emotional growth. Children learn to follow a series of directions and to do so independently, where-by gaining the confidence they will need for Kindergarten.
Miss Deb has a B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Central Michigan University. She also has a Masters in Special Education from Grand Valley State University.
Miss Jennifer came to the Learning Tree staff after employment at the Muskegon YMCA as a lead teacher in their day care and has been teaching in our program since 2000.
Miss Mary Ann attended West Liberty State College. Prior to moving to Michigan, she served as Administrative Director of St. Martin's Day School in Summerville WV for seven years.
Miss Stacey attended Grand Valley University where she took many Early Childhood Education classes. Stacey joined our staff in 2003.
Miss Meredith attended Vassar College, where she earned her degree in both Psychology and Education.

Fabulous 4's End Of The Year News:
We are so sad to see our wonderful year in the 4's classes come to an end. We have had such great and joyful moments together, and we will cherish each and every memory we have made.
The parent/teacher conferences were a success, and gave each parent a chance to speak individually with their child's teacher! Speaking of success, just wait until the parents see their child's portfolio! It will be a treasure to keep forever.
The 4's will finish out the year with their Mother's Day Teas, letting their beautiful butterflies go to explore the world; and graduation, where we in turn will let our 4 year olds go out into the world as well!
