What makes the Learning Tree Preschool a branch above the rest?
by Elizabeth Durant on 04/17/12
Learning Tree has many qualities that set it apart from other preschools in the Tri-Cities area. We have two very qualified LEAD teachers in every classroom, and three LEAD teachers in our 2's class. We not only allow parents in the classrooms, we encourage it! Starting the 4th week of school, and continuing all year long, our parents are welcome to volunteer. We consider the parent-child-teacher relationship a partnership! We want your child to not only be successful in class, but at home, in kindergarten and beyond, and you as the parent are such an important part of that puzzle. It would not be complete without your input, and presence! We also are able to offer "specials" in our program. Just as they have in the elementary schools, we offer a gym, music and art program that is taught by our qualified teachers! Finally, we have added an iStartSmart computer system, with touch-screen technology; backpack books; 2 fundraisers a year; and have the most caring group of parents we call the COPS-Committee of Parents, who organize both fundraisers for us! Learning Tree is a unique and special place....if you come join us for the 2012-2013 school year, it will be the best decision you have ever made for both you and your child!
